Cask conditioned ale has been the popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. We continue this pioneer spirit with our Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn.

Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which cannot be duplicated otherwise.

Expect this ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying. You know you're in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, straw color, with a smallish, foamy, white head. The nose is caramel, passion fruit, vanilla, and cloves. Sweet and yeasty, with a mellow, zesty bitterness. Light to medium body, creamy, and a bit crisp. Easy and tasty.

Glad to finally try a beer from New Glarus, even if it’s a bit of a regular-degular Belgian-esque golden ale. Semi-sweet grain laced with vanilla and a touch of clove leads to a clean, gentle finish with a smidge if bitterness. Easy to drink, but not all that memorable beyond being the first NG bottle I’ve had.

Poured from 355mL can. Hazy blonde gold with small white head. Estersy wheat, some sweet corn, lacking depth.

Pint at Transfer Pizza in Milwaukee after Cache cider; stayed for some local Jazz. Slightly hazed & unfamiliar. Had this out of a bottle in the last century. Yeasty, sharply fruity nose. Yeasty, juicy, minor clove, some pepper, dust, solid acidity. More like an American wheat to me. Needs to be ice cold to enjoy. Cheers.

This ale poured a hazy, medium yellow colour with a white, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, sweet malt and candy. First swig was very watery. Almost a 2 parts water, one part beer mix. Not offensive, but very white bread. Sweet malt and non existent hops is all it has to offer. Finish is sweeter with cornish, malt flavours lingering.

12 oz can from John, 4/4/22. Been a minute since I've had this one (pretty sure I've never had it in a can before, only bottle). Shocked I've never rated, but here we go... Mostly clear gold, white head. Full of yeasty esters, spice / clove, herbal, grainy. Banana, grass, and hay. Flavor packed. Drinks clean. Tingly, somewhat dry close. Pretty damn good. Would probably drink it more often if it left the state, but that's just how it goes.
