Can at home, from CW online, 30/07/21. Deep black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, charr, hint of liquorice, brown sugar dusting, light spice balance. Taste comprises cocoa powder, toffee fudge, brown sugars, light roasted tones, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome stout.

Can. Don’t know where from. Clear dark brown. Thick tan swede. Nose has dark malt. Dark chocolate. Ground pepper. Some diesel fumes thing going on. Taste has some sweetness, but is mostly dry and earthy, and woody bitter. Mouthfeel is a bit ashy and grainy. Dirty bitterness to finish. Couldn’t even manage half the can.

440ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Taste is quite sweet, loads of vanilla and chocolate, some roast malts / hints of coffee, bittersweet finish. Medium-full bodied, very creamy and smooth. A bit sweet for my liking but a very nice stout.

So I opened this for some reason convinced it was an IPA... vanilla toasty stout notes dominate. Would have liked it more if I were expecting it.
