To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we wanted to release a special, new barrel-aged beer that could commemorate this milestone in our companies history. Our barrel-aged beers have always looked to the world of food, spirits and wine for inspiration. We have made beers based on desserts and pastries, cocktails, cordials and amari and this special release continues that tradition.

Jet brown with a decent beige head. Stale chocolate and nutmeg. Chocolate, light spice and a long finish. Touch nutty, cocoa and some spice. Not great.

Dark brown. Just a thin head. Some chocolate up front, and then there's some fruity accents to it as well. It's got some sweetness up front, and then there's a bit of brown sugar, some port sort of notes, that sweet sugary residue. It's actually pretty light, and it's a bit light. It ends up being okay.

12 oz bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Nose is estery, with lots of candi sugar, a little white wine, and saison yeast. Flavour is sweet and estery, with a nice white wine character, and gentle saison yeast. Generally too estery and sweet, with a cotton candy-like finish. Okay.

Black body with medium tan head. Aroma chocolate, oil, roast malt and cream. Chocolate roast malt taste with some brandy bit in the long lasting finish.

650 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of oily chocolate, cream, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow with definite sweet milky lactose notes and a bit of brandy barrel to balance. Some spiciness though cant quite place nutmeg. Great stuff for the ABV and malt base

650 ml bottle. Pours a almost pitch black hue, a large brown frothy head. A big roast and barrel nose. Sweet, initially very sweet, clear brandy, big roast, lactose, light spices, woody barrel and big dark fruit. Very nice.
