Sssappp is a new rendition of Sap designed to push the original flavor profile to a heightened level of depth and intensity through the use of additional kettle and dry hops! Don’t let the name fool you - this beer is loaded with notes of rich red grapefruit, apricot, and earthy citrus. A supple mouthfeel and full body help lend balance to the pleasant and complex onslaught of flavors. It just feels right.

16oz can c/o Smith. Big, bold, resinous hop tone. Beastly and bitter, this is a really solid IPA. Old school I suppose in varietals, but really well done. Huge NW hop tone. Cool beer.

16 oz can from Jeremy. Nothing special about the pour, normal for the style. But it gets better. Rich, fruity aroma, citrus, oranges. Taste is mure fruity goodness, citrus, hint of topical, bound together in a wonderfully thick, creamy body.

Canned 2/16/18, drunk 3/16/18.
Pale straw-to-light-brass, with a white head receding slowly to a ring. Good haziness to it, falling short of soupy.
Lots of house yeast character in this one (as Sap always tends to have). Tons of bubble gum and lightl-to-moderate citrus-like spice. Like Sap, I think this one is better quite fresh than the usual NE IPA that needs a few weeks. As it is here, some of the expressive, complex, interesting hop spice and woody potpourri has faded quite a bit. But it still remains enjoyably clean and free of resin or alcohol.
Soft and dry, as one expects from Tree House, with a good malt depth and moderate-to-low bitterness. Lightly spicy with pine-spruce notes having faded somewhat but still providing a good elegance to the beer. Light wood, marmalade, lemon and yellow fruit (dried nectarine and apricot) lingering. No alcohol or flaw. Always surprised just how soft and easygoing the Sap family is. I think I like Super Sap quite a bit more, bu then, I need to try this one at just a few days old.

Sampled from can @ RBBWG 2018, hosted by Beerlovers Bar, Antwerp. Opaque hazy murky pale yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma is good, solid, nicely hoppy, but not too special. Flavor is absolutely delicious: hugely hoppy, tropical fruity, super tropical, lacks bitterness imo, that would make it even better but it's hard to complain about something this tasty.
