Lattina. Il gusto al naso viene attratto da caffè e mentuccia. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma non molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, cioccolatino After Eight, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, agrumi, cannella e vaniglia.

Draft at Metalhead Beer Festival. Near black with a ring beige head. Aroma of spice, cinnamon, Christmas spice, overripe dark fruits, dark chocolate and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Taster at gfs place, courtesy of Sander, big thanks. almost black color, small coffee colored head. smells xmas spices, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, toffee, marzipan, nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes of spices, specoloos, cloves, intense cinnamon, cardamon, lght vanilla, bit nutty, marzipan. finishes lightly bitter with notes of cloves, cinnamon and some vanilla notes. nice stuff, but also a bit overpowered by the spices, could use a bit more body to back up the spices, rather roasty, a bit of sweetness would actually help this one too. still very nice one.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Cloudy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of allspice, cardamom, gingerbread, clove, biscuit, fondant, 'raw' vanilla, cold mulled wine. Taste has sweet chocolate & gingerbread, going over bitter clove, anise & cacao nibs, slightly creamy body with a vanilla accent. Spicy, herbal hoppy finish, pronounced anise & allspice, bitter chocolate & warming 'mulled wine'-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Not too strong, subtle sipper.

Glasses and deer. Blackish-brown full-bodied nice color with thin, brown, small-hole creamy foam. Beautiful. In addition to malt, it has a full-bodied, cola-like, spicy, clove-like aroma. Lots and lots of spices give an actual Christmas feel to the scent. Then taste it. It’s like mulled wine is a beer made with spices. Interesting try, we know the scientists, what it's like ... An oily, very weakly carbonated sip. If we try to get a sense of the spices in it, it will work differently and differently with each sip. The milk-stout base is also very fine. They had a good beer again. Of course, this is only and exclusively drinkable as a dessert, a specialty, a sip, it is not recommended to buy it just for the sake of beer, it is also expensive. I haven’t drunk such a spicy stout yet, it was interesting. Not perfect, he rather created a "spycy, or flavored milk-stout" category. I'm sure there will be anyone who doesn't like it. What I still liked was that the alcohol is nicely hidden, compared to 7.5%.

Szemüveges, szarvasos. Feketésbarna testes szép szín, vékony, barna, apró lyukú krémes habbal. Szép. A maláta mellett testes, kólás, fűszeres, szegfűszeges illat. A sok-sok fűszer egy tényleges karácsony érzést ad illatra. Majd ízre is. Mintha forralt bor fűszerrel készült sör lenne. Érdekes próbálkozás, ismerjük a tudósokat, milyenek... Olajos testes, nagyon gyengén szénsavas korty. Ha a benne lévő fűszereket próbáljuk kiérezni, kortyonként sikerülni fog mást-és mást. A milk-stout alap is nagyon rendben van. Már megint egy jó sör sikerült nekik. Persze ez csak és kizárólag desszertként, különlegességként, kortyolgatva iható, pusztán sörözés kedvéért nem ajánlatos ezt venni, ahhoz drága is. Ennyire fűszeres stout-ot még nem ittam, érdekes volt. Nem tökéletes, inkább létrehozott egy "spycy, vagy flavoured milk-stout" kategóriát. Biztos vagyok benne, lesz akinek nem tetszik. Ami még tetszett benne, hogy az alkohol szépen el van bújtatva, ahhoz képest, hogy 7,5%.

Tap at 100 piv. Very rich. Full chocolatey toffeeish maltiness. Moderate carbonation. High milky sweetness. Low bitterness, no deep roast. Loads of spices are the center here. Very pleasant, balanced Christmas mix. Very tasty, easy drinking, abv hidden well. I am a sucker for these spices. Quite good.
