Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Very clean, very complex and very very good. Easy drinking, sessionable. Lots of berries, general fruitiness, slight sourness. Makes for a great beer. I like it very much.

Sampled from bottle at CBF Wien.
Dark copper body, with almost no head.
Aroma of barrel, red wine, overripe fruits, leather, dried fruits, cherries, vanilla, some barnyard.
Taste follows this, with even more lovely barrel notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with almost no carbonation.
Finishes smooth, wooden, vinous, sweet and sour fruity, with a bit vanilla.
Really tasty. Smooth and complex, with lovely, well integrated barrel notes and lots of fruits. I’m just missing a bit more carbonation. But overall still one of the very best style examples from Austria so far!
