Slightly hazy with a white head. Soft aroma, bread, light citrus, a hint of spice. Crisp body with a nice bite. Lemon citrus in flavor with light grain. Decent.

On tap at the brewpub in Vienna. Pours a hazy, dark gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is standard, malty, barley, bread, yeast, cracker. Flavor is the same, sweet, bread, lemon, malt, barley, cracker. Dry finish.

At the brewpub. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is softish with good fine carbonation. The pale malt is quite sweet and there is an unusual (for the style) bubblegum ester. Modest hops complete things. Mild citrus. Went down well enough after a long traipse about town.

In einem solchen Craftbier-Lokal sein einfaches Lager zu bestellen, mag etwas langweilig wirken, aber kosten möchte ich es trotzdem. Und es ist wirklich gelungen, da es eine Süffigkeit hat, die ich sonst nur aus tschechischen Hausbrauereien kenne. Dabei hat es eine schöne ausgeprägte Hopfigkeit, die sich der Braumeister nicht nehmen ließ. Auch wenn ich das verrauchte Lokal eigentlich nicht mag, ist dies doch ein tolles Bier.

Tap @ Brewpub, Vienna. Day 1 RBESG 2012. As Lager Vollbier. Pours clear golden with a creamy white head. Hoppy and malty nose and flavor. Grassy hops and bread-crust. Nice.

RBESG 2012 - Day 1. Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with some herbal hops and a faint fruity note. Sweetish bready malt flavour with herbal hops and a quite bitter finish

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Great hop profile in its aroma, fruity yet dry herbal. Flavor was slightly sweet, honey, biscuit, balanced with herbal hops, but had some harsh grainy note. Medium body. Shorter finish revealed more hops than initially tasted. More than a decent lager, although a bit raw.

Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. A touch hazy yellow appearance with a cream white head. A touch fruity, straw, earthy aroma. Fairly grainy, somewhat floral, dry flavor. Not bad.

RBESG ’12, Vienna. On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is light swampy, sweet and floral. Flavour of vegetables, grain, light floral bitterness. Meh. Light bodied.
