  Stout Regular
Score
7.08
ABV: 5.9% IBU: - Ticks: 72
The ABV of this beer changed from 7.4% in late 2020, and it has since been introduced into the Vocation core range.

The recipe for Naughty & Nice remains exactly the same as always except that we have dialled back the ABV to 5.9% now that it’s going to be with us year-round. Reducing the ABV increases the drinkability – it’s still a hefty beer, but just that bit more quaffable.

Can from Asda and drunk at home. Dark brown beer. Lasting tan head. Chocolate aroma. Chocolate and some chocolate icing on the aroma. Some dryness on the finish. Some kinda chocolate butterfly cakes. Not a lot of sweetness. It's a bit dry. Some cocoa. It's fine.

Canned. Dark brown, mid sized head. Aroma of chocolate sauce. Sweet with medium body and clean hard mouthfeel. Chocolate sauce and coffee. Sharp finish.

Drunk from cask at Williams Ale & Cider House in London as part of a sampler paddle, which is an excellent idea by the way, just pick 3 beers of 1/3 pint. Super dark with a thin dark brown head. Cellar temp is perfect for a beer like this. Mildly sweet, chock full of complex toffee/cocoa/molasses notes, with moderate bitterness that reminds you this is a beer and not dessert. Really fantastic, when can we get cask ales in Munich please?

Pours a black with small tanned head, thin retention. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses, chocolate, some nuttiness. Inviting. Taste of chocolate, sweet roasted malts, nuts, a tangy almost blackcurrant note with a smoky finish. Stronger version was slightly better but this is still good.

Large foamy tan head left a froth on a dark brown still body. Demerara, chocolate & boozy aroma. Medium bodied, smooth thinning out to a clean back. Chocolate, malt, biscuit & bready tastes with a fruity berry finish. Lovely.
