Herbal beer brewed in collaboration with the attending home and professional brewers of Grutkulturfestival International 2020 in Münster: La Source, Fermenthings, De Kromme, Haring, Nevel, Luti, Dønnekes, Elixer, Gruthaus, Von Seitz,David Bea. We elaborated the different herbs that everybody brought to the brew day and used them during the boil and in the coolship. Further we added organic bitter and blood oranges to the cooling beer. Fruit forward herbal beer, which is not for the faint of heart. This blend matured for 15 months in red wine barrels.

TCBW2025. Hazy yellowish golden colour wtih a small off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is oaked, some red wine, mild tart fruity and berry tones with some funk as well. Flavour is blueberries, some funky, mild tartness with some acidity as well as some wooden and vanillaish tones, but also some mild tannin like dry elements.

Tap at Lya, with Munja. Misty golden body, lasting off-white head. Red wine barrel, woody, vanilla, lightly tart, okay aroma overall. Blueberry notes in the taste, tart, minerally, lightly herbal, wild. Funky, somewhat phenolic, low astringency. Solid stuff indeed!

Cloudy golden white bitter orange grapefruit. Clear crisp fresh tart. Vanilla wood. Very drinkable. Interesting. Complex, rural. Garden. Round, smooth.

Bottle at Ratebeer tasting at Daves, Unterhaching, München, Friday 4th February 2022. Pours orange colour with a white rim of bubbles, streakyness, tart orange, super refreshing, super zippy and zappy, excellent.

Bottle. Slightly pink hazy straw. Super funky fruity sour aroma, the nose reminds me of Cascade Brewing. The flavor is a bit of grapefruit-like citrus, smooth complexity with big sour character. Really nice.

Hazy golden. Aroma is funky horse blanket gooseberries red currant wheat light cheese orange. Taste is fresh but not too sour with some light sweet malt and lots of hoppy bitterness. Light but not watery. Not at all heavy but so complex and fresh. Amazing.
