On tap at Aldstadt Hotel, Zum Hechten, Füssen, Germany. Hazy yellowy gold with a with a large white head. Light fizziness in the mouth, usual wheaty characteristics are there but subtle in the delivery, light citrus. Good but just a little thin.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - cloudy yellow brown with a very generous head, as expected from Hefeweizen. Nose - light banana, pineapple and slight funkiness. Taste - dry banana and pineapple. Candied lemon on the finish. A hint of nutmeg. Palate - close to medium bodied. Tangy and creamy through the middle and end sections. Overall - decent example of the style.

Cloudy pale golden colour, lot of activity in the glass, tall frothy white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, banana, cloves, hint of citrus. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, light sourish, wheaty, yeast, very light banana, light lemon, light cloves, bit cardboard. Sweet and light sourish aftertaste, light spicy notes, metallic hint, medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, overall a bit messy.
