Draught at the Schwana-Keller. Fruity aroma, slightly flowery. The appearance is hard to judge in the ceramic mug. Good yeasty and fruity flavour. Low carbonation. Subtle and nice. Well-balanced.

Ceramic mug. Golden and hazy. The aroma is minerals and butter....argh...but wait, a new barrel has been tapped! Frabjous day! Thick head. Herbal, woody aroma - where’d that butter go? Minerally, light hops, herbal. Refreshing character. Well, the butter at the end of the old barrel wasn’t good but the fresh barrel is a totally different animal, much better.

Draught at Schwanenkeller, Burgebrach. Probably deep golden. minimal head. Some floral hop notes up front. Medium bodied with rounded solid mouthfeel. A touch of toffee before a carefully salty finish.

Herb-würziger Antrunk. Bald kommt eine sehr leichte Hopfennote dazu, die Würzigkeit ändert sich und wirkt nun brauseartig. Süffig, etwas süßlich, erfrischend. 8/9/9/9//9

On tap at the Schwanenkeller: Small creamy layer, hazy, golden coloured; distinctive sweet-malty nose with a touch of barnyard and citrousy hops; smooth MF, moderate sweetish flavour; short, sweet and malt-accented finish. A good, well quaffable Kellerbier..........
