Bottle shared on the train, day 3 of the post Christmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Bamberg to Nuremberg. Pours clear, bright yellow with a creamy, white topping. Nice biscuity pale malts in here, cereal, soft floral hops, modest sweetness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately crisp finish, further dry cereal, biscuits. Good one.

Amber with a frothy to creamy white head. Aroma of old straw, caramel, grass. Taste has a bitter overtone with a chewy, caramel sweetness underneath. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Hits the spot on a hot day.

Clear golden. Aroma is spelt, noble hops, grass, lots of grains, some basement, hints of tomato, yeast cake. Taste is balanced bittersweet malt with some minerally dusty finish. Full bodied, but the dusty herbal character is a bit too much. Still pretty tasty.

Bottle, many thanks MoritzF! Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, earthy, a bit hay. Taste is grainy, light lemony, grassy, hay, cake dough. Mineralic dry mouthfeel with medium carbonation and quite a bitter finish. Ok, a bit too cakey.

Flasche von REWE Weich, Bamberg. - Orangegelb, trüb, reichlich Schaum. - Nase mild fruchtig (Apfelschale), schwach hefig, so gut wie kein Hopfen. - Antrunk leicht fruchtig (Apfelsaft), etwas grob getreidig-malzsüß, leicht hefig. Mild rezent. Abgang eher mäßig krautig-hopfenherb, ohne feinere Hopfenaromen. Nachtrunk von mittlerer, etwas dumpfer Bittere. - Trinkbar, auch erfrischend, aber nicht herausragend; für ein Kellerbier zu matt gehopft.
