New England IPA from this Danish craft brewery, thanks Craftmember for sharing. Snow white, medium thick, stable head on a cloudy peach blonde robe with almost salmon-pinkish tinge. Aroma of ripe mango, papaya, milk powder, fruit salad, sweet red onions, lemongrass. Sweet onset, baby’s fruit porridge effect almost, orange juice and papaya notes, tropical, softly fizzing, very soft and ‘fluffy’, doughy malt core; a lactic touch appears, as in old milk powder, only reinforcing the sweetness in this case – weirdly. Ends with lots of tropical mango and papaya juiciness and aromas, but remains very low in bitterness. Typical present-day NEIPA for the masses of craft beer hipsters that have arisen in the past years: way too sweet, an IPA that tastes like a fruit smoothie, so not my personal cup of tea, I’m afraid, if technically correct.

Can direct from the brewery webshop drunk at home - hazy yellow with a white head. Tropical exotic fruity with notes of passionfruit, mango, lychee, hints of berry fruits, soft sweet malty backbone, light bitter hoppy finish, tasty but just behind the Motueka version for me.
