Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and banana, with touches of yeast and phenol. Bitter, hoppy and spicy flavour with sweetish notes of malt and banana, and sourish, grainy touches. Peppery and sourish aftertaste. Reasonable for the style.

Bottle, 5.2%. Phenolic aroma, but not burnt plastic as such. Clovey, buttery and citric. Cloudy golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour has clove and lemon and a little butter. Dry finish. Thin mouthfeel.

Ein neues Bier vom Ziegenbock aus Großpopowitz. Untypisch für Tschechien gibt man ein Weizenbier heraus. Dieses ist nicht mal schlecht gelungen. Es hat schöne hefige und getreidigen Noten und sogar einen passablen Fruchtkörper. Es wird wohl nicht mein Lieblings-Weizen, aber für heiße Tage in Tschechien kann man es durchaus empfehlen.

Bottle from somewhere. I guess Kaufland Butovice. Murky orange-golden body, off whtie head. Dry aroma, light banana and vanilla, ripe fruit, yeasty, oookay. Lean taste, yeasty, some banana, maybe apple, light caramel, light bubblegum, some bitterness in the finsih. Okay... mid tier at most, all over the place with the taste and the aroma, but never in a memorable way. Just an average weizen.

(bottle 0,5l from Billa) Overall: Not bad weizen. Did not expect from macro Kozel. Aroma: Weizen yeasts, clove. Appearance: Cloudy golden. Persistent white head. Taste: Light sweet, light sour-ish, weizen yeasts. Palate: Medium body. Creamy texture. Light bitter finish.
