1l bottle, shared. Unclear amber with with a foamy head. Toasted malt, caramel, toffee, vanilla, buttery notes, diacetyl, again caramel, dry citrus. Malty sweetness, some dryness. Medium bodied, oily texture, low to soft carbonated, dry malty caramel buttery sweetness. Nice beer!

Ausgezeichnetes Zwickel, kernig, getreidig, sehr intensiv würzig, süffig, sehr geil!

On tap at Ma Che Siete. Pours amber with medium white head. Malty, some caramel, fruity notes, bitter finish. Medium bodied.

1 litre bottle shared at Weiher. Mid dark red beer with some really good malts biscuit. Some dryness on finish the fruit is excellent. Lovely

1 liter bottle bought today from the brewery. Pours amber color with a low, fine head. Nose is rich, nutty malt, with caramel and chocolate and herbal, citrus hops. Hops are very spicy and floral with a bit of orange blossom. Flavor i rich, sweet, nutty malt with caramel and chocolate. Herbal, spicy hops bring a bitter, spicy finish. Another fabulous work of art from Scharpf. Great. Does seem like a young version of the Marzen, but hoppier at that.

Keg at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich firm head. Mild grassy nose. Dry with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Some toast and fruity depth. Mild grass. Mid bitter finish.

(swing top bottle, 100cl) Hazy, amber colour with a big but quickly collapsing off-white foamy head. Bready malty and slightly nutty and toasty aroma with notes of caramel, and mildly spicy hops in the background. Moderately bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and slightly crusty malty taste with caramel, nutty and subtle fruity notes; mildly hoppy spicy towards the lasting bitter-sweet finish. Pleasant! 10.IX.18

Hazy brownish. Aroma is berries, bread, goji maybe, grains. Taste is slight coppery with much nutpeel. Not very intense but well balanced. Still tasty and drinkable.
