This one-time limited-edition India Pale Lager is the result of our 2nd collaboration with the guys from Hop Hooligans. We used a nice, smooth liquid yeast from the first beer we did together (Sausage party) and then we dry-hopped it heavily with Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic. A nice and smooth 6% ABV session-able IPL. 0.50l bottle, courtesy of Sima & David. Aroma is grainy, citrusy, grassy and floral with mild sauerkraut note. Pours cloudy golden amber color with large soapy off-white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty and refreshing citrusy with mild tropical note, following is grassy, herbal and medicinal, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Hazy golden-amber, white head. Fruity malts, cooked fruit, moderate hoppy aroma with notes of wild herbs and medicine. Nice and clean taste, on the dryer side, subtle fruit and malt sweetness, clean crisp spicy hop. Smooth mouthfeel of a well fermented lager. Not crazy about its hops, quite like it otherwise.
