Did someone ask for hops? Tired of beers that promise a full lupulin experience, but never deliver more than richly malted bitterness? It’s no secret that this is what we excel at. We’ve been brewing world class IPAs for years. Our flagship is the culmination of a decades worth of studying and brewing. Take a step above and acclimate to what an IPA should be.

On tap at Falling Rock, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a wonderful fresh piney hop character and a dry biscuity malt backing. Flavour is clean as well, with tons of piney hops, some hop oils and biscuity malt. So piney and dry, with a wonderfully oily palate. Wonderful stuff.

Lots of pinecone and potpourri here like your aunt’s cabin in the mountains. Quite bitter. Definitely elevated. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Good balance. Pineapple. Tap at Savor.

Can. Tnx VastActiv. Clear golden color, small white head. Strong citrusy, hop oily aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity, piney, resiny. Extremely hoppy, hoppy oily but drinkability is high.

(Can, 0.473 l - BB 05/04/17, at pre HBF2017 Saturday tasting, thanks VastActiv) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, grass and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, pine, fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good and very hoppy brew.

The beer to bring back from a trip to northern New Mexico. Pour most of the 16 oz. can into a chilled tall mug, see a nice orangey yellow body with enough head to keep track of the sips. Hoppy of course, it is an IPA, but nicely done, not knock you down. I detect the lemon, the grass and a bit of sweetness at the end. The taste lingers and that is good. Should be the first beer of a session before you move on to lesser brews, must make the four packs last. So, this is a much-needed revisit to one of my first RateBeer ratings 7 or 8 years back. I did not appreciate at the time what Elevated brought to the game. Now, having survived the NE style intrusion to the IPA style, I can update my opinion of Elevated. The tab on the 16 oz can I got in Santa Fe three days ago is lifted and well, hell yes, I will drink from the can. I have to say now it is a hop bomb and that is a good thing. A super brew, perhaps the best IPA I have had in my time. So very glad La Cumbre is still brewing the beer and I hope to make it to their tasting room in Albq someday. Kick up the rating.

Can: Poured a coppery with a tinge off white head. Aroma was super hoppy citrus and dank. Taste is nice rounded flavorful hops, with a balanced malt backbone. Finally ticked this one and wasn’t disappointed!

Tap at Falling Rock. Bright orange-amber with lace. Piny, caramel, some orange, resins, citrus. Pretty full flavors and a bit old-school. Not too sweet, restrained caramel. Good, but not quite what I was hoping to find.
