33cl can, BB 22/11/2022.

12/III/22 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 19/X/22 (2022-255)

Clear gold blond beer, maybe a bit dark for a Kölsch? Big solid creamy to fluffy head on top, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: clean malt profile, cow fodder, hint of banana peel, slightly metallic. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, slightly sweet, grains, hay, very bitter, a bit grassy, slightly fruity, hint of banana. Aftertaste: dry and malty, bitter, grassy, a little metallic, a bit fruity, touch of peach, vanilla, a bit medicinal, bitter dry finish.

Riktigt gott.

Clear golden with a big Mr Whippy ice cream head. I could stick a flake in this! Aroma of grain, malt and light hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light bodied with high carbonation.

Draught Huge, very dense light-yellowish head over well-carbonated hazy golden beer with textbook lace. Very yeasty nose, bit citrussy, very grainy and light sulphur. Bitterish fine hops in the mouth, overlying the very yeasty-grainy flavour. Slick, light body, good carbonation. Again one a tad (too) young, if quite better and more accomplished than the Lager. Still not a Päffgen, mind...
