You know by now that when we enjoy our hoppy beers, we often imagine how it would taste by doubling down on everything. This week it’s time for Ripples to undergo that treatment and we have an IPA with all of the tropical hoppy notes and a slightly sweeter malt base than its predecessor.

Can from Beers@Moviefun, Bruges. Hazy yellow, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of lychee, lime, cheese, pineapple, ripe mandarin, nectarine. Taste has sweet lychee & pineapple, zesty lime, softly bitter citrus peel over honey maltiness. Floral hoppy finish, bit spicy-yeasty, juicy citrus & lychee lingering. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Rather sweet but not disturbing, just well made.

330ml can from Chez Sophie, after the first outing along the river on our Seahawk 4 dinghy. Misty gold appearance, small white head. Aroma of solero fruits, continues to taste, comforting hazy textures on the palate with vibrant fruity hop presence. Nicely rounded, great drinkability.

33cl can: BB 22nd Apr 2021. Drank at home on 16th May 2021. Cloudy orange body, pretty dull orange actually, fast fading white head. Very fruity in nature, on the sweet side, which I prefer. Good feel to the body depth and alcohol content, it's a decent brew!
