Canned May 2025, drunk 6/26/25.
Clear, brass-golden. Large, white head, falls steadily to spotty cover.
BIG, BIG Saaz nose and it's absolutely gorgeous. Fresh cut grass, fresh herbs and such with a healthy backing of honey and dough from the malt. They squeezed every ounce out of the hops and yet it doesn't feel overdone. Lingering acidity with mineral and yeast. Clean.
Lighter body, you can tell it's a lower abv. But it's not glaring, and there's still plentiful honey-like malt depth with good attenuation. Dough and biscuit join in, as fresh herb galore explodes on the gently bitter, balanced finish with mineral and yeast lingering. This is stunning, especially given its tiny size. Almost as much body and flavor as a 5 or 5.5% pils. Well, if you thought Anchorage was all ADWTD and IPAs, think again...

16 oz can. Aroma has bold Saaz grassy goodness with some honey-like malt. Fresh! Great balance of cereal grain, Saaz hops and a light mineral touch. Mouthfeel is light and crisp, finish is clean. Very refreshing on a blazing hot day in NH. Well crafted!

On tap at Anchorage, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fresh grassy hops and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is vibrant, crisp and punchy, with lots of intense grassiness, crisp crackery malt. Highly hopped, bitter and punchy. Wonderful, especially given the low ABV.

Can from Tavour: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is hay, flower, grass. Taste is somewhat bitter, grassy, lightly sweet. Body is bigger than the abv would imply.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a slight copper hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light grass with a growing slightly sweet grains and hay supporting. Flavor has slightly bitter grass up front with a growing earthy grass note in the finish.
