Cask at The Shipwrights Arms by London Bridge Station. Clear dark gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma is malty, slightly floral, infact soapy. Flavourwise it's got a light bitter streak.. Damp citrus and sweeter fruit. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Relatively abrupt finish. Drank two pints 8n no time because it's completely inoffensive and basically slips down without making much of an impression.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, bready, some grassy, herbal notes. Flavour is citrus, some fruits, bready, a bit grainy and some grassy notes. A bit like the Gold, but this one has a bit more bitterness to it.

Fra cask på legendariske Hole In the Wall (her har lite og ingenting blitt forandret siden jeg frekventerte denne midt på 80-tallet, til og med røyklukta sitter igjen!), med Egil: klar gylden med fint skum helt ned. Urter, barskog, brennenesle. Tørr og slank med fin munnfølelse.
