A new beer for a New Year! We know many of you were sad when Pliny the Elder did not win the election in 2020 and faded off into the sunset. So we decided to revive the P4P recipe with a few modifications and created Double Dry-Hopped Pliny in a can for the first time ever! Don't worry, this will be the first of many tasty batches. DDH Pliny will be sticking around for a while! Cheers!

Appearance: pours straw-yellow and hazy, with no head.
Aroma: subtle yet complex—grassy hop character layered with farmhouse funk and tart fruit tones, including lemon, passion fruit, pineapple, and a whisper of peach.
Flavor & Mouthfeel: starts modest then unfolds into delicate spiciness, hay-like malt nuances, and a restrained fruit profile. A discreet bitterness and a slightly muted finish hint at a refined balance. Medium body with moderate carbonation offers a clean, smooth drinking experience..

Draught at Monk's: pours yellow with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, general citrus. Taste is moderately bitter. Clean maltiness. Not too bitter. Lots more fruity than bitter. Quite good .

500ml bottle. Floral hop aroma with notes of pine resin, berry, grapefruit, caramel malt and tangerine. Pours clear golden colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with berry, caramel malt and tangerine flavors. Finishes dry but still quite smooth with grapefruit, floral and pine resin hop flavors with mild bitterness. Very nice variation on a classic!

Tap at Gourmet Haus. Clear gold with frothy white head that massively patterns down the glass and sustains throughout. Millions of bubbles. A beautiful beer. Aromas of orange, pine and hop resins. Flavor is citrus and forest. Moderate high bitterness and slightly grassy - that stands out from the base Pliny but is subdued and works well. Alcohol is so well hidden. This is great.

Can at tasting shared with friends. Almost clear yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, old school hoppiness, light pine, light resin, superbly bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Awesome beer.

Tap at North Park Beer, North Park, 13th February 25, with James. Pours clear. Aroma is resin and citrus, light aromatic. Taste is resinous, clean, refined, refreshing, citrus and pine. Excellent, but the original works better for me

Hoppy and fruity, piney, some citrus. Dry grass, soft bitterness, smooth. Is good, but still prefer the robustness of the og.
