A new beer for a New Year! We know many of you were sad when Pliny the Elder did not win the election in 2020 and faded off into the sunset. So we decided to revive the P4P recipe with a few modifications and created Double Dry-Hopped Pliny in a can for the first time ever! Don't worry, this will be the first of many tasty batches. DDH Pliny will be sticking around for a while! Cheers!

03/29/21, surprise surprise, OG west coast killer is still a killer, that sweet and stickiness is fantastic still, I think the DDH mutes the pineyness a bit but still delish

16 oz. Aroma has notes of peaches, pineapple, citrus peel. Pours hazy golden with a two finger cream white head with excellent retention. Taste is moderately bitter with piney and citrusy flavors. Finishes dry. Damn good.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 8, 2021. Aroma is fairly hop forward with grapefruit, pine resin, orange and some tropical fruit notes. Medium light cracker malt notes and hints of caramel. Light alcohol notes. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes and hints of caramel. Rather strong and assertive bitterness that lingers into the finish. Moderate notes of grapefruit, pine resin and lighter notes of orange and tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast DIPA. Lots of assertive bitterness with balanced, albeit a bit light hop notes. Good malt and body that carries the alcohol well. I like the original more.

This is truly lovely, not that I’d expect different. Big juicy stone fruit up front, dank bitter WC follow through.

16oz can from JohnGalt1. Much obliged, sir! Pale golden, mild haze, soft, fizzy head. Light piney, woody hops in the aroma. Hops fill up the taste without being too bitter. Pretty damn smooth. Full, and easy to drink. A little bit of the hops rises at the finish to leave it's mark on your palate.
