Our version of a traditional German-style golden lager. Brewed with the finest German pilsner malt and noble hops. Matured in a horizontal tank for at least 2 months. Clean, crisp, and exceptionally well balanced. Thank you sir, I’ll have another.

First up Westbrook Low and Slow Helles Golden Lager 4.8% Cloudy light gold with a thick head of foam. Nice mildly spicy aroma of herbal notes and soda bread. Full bodied with a crisp dry finish. The taste matches the aroma but also gives mild honey graham notes. Very solid.

US pint can, ordered online from Hoptimism and drunk at home. Mid- to dark gold with a bit of haze, thin white head and considerable lacing. Lemon balm and pink grapefruit peel notes on the aroma with a fresh floral character. Sweet taste, more sharp citrus to the fore with honey followed by a very light bitterness from the hop toward the finish. Sweet honey and lemon aftertaste. Highly carbonated. Highly recommended!
