Adam has a deep garnet color and a generous carbonation which brings the aroma of chocolate and hazelnuts to the nose. The flavor starts soft, with flavors of pear and smoke, leading to a prickly mineral finish. This Beer was aged for 8 weeks after fermentation in our special concrete egg.

On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza 2018. Black beer no head. They really know how to brew these old ales. Some mineral. Some malt. Date molasses. Light bitterness. Just a mineral malt Base of goodness.

12 oz bottle picked up at Hair of the Dog, back when this was fresh. 2015 vintage bottle. Opened with Tcon, and some lopsided championship football. Actually picked up two bottles of this, and tried one fresh. Wasn't thrilled with it at the time, so I gave this bottle age, and the deserved retry. Near black pour. Tons of lasting tan foam head. Bold aroma. Roasted malt, tobacco, a touch of smoke. Still trying to identify the concrete egg significance. Tobacco like notes in the flavor as well. Bold flavor, but smoother than the double digit suggestion. Very flavorful. Leather and tobacco, and it works. Toasty. Good stuff.
