Poured from 355mL bottle. Dark brown with minimal off white head. Metallic note (always get this from the stone beers), fairly leathery, some dark fruits, enjoy the Adam, but would prefer to have regular Adam over the From the Stone variant.

From tap at Borefts 2019. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, toffee, syrup, light roast, abd tobacco. Sweet flavour, a bit creamy above medium body. Smooth, fairly rich.

12oz bottle. My last bottle from my cellar. Pours a murky dark brown color with a large khaki colored head that has good retention and crazy lacing. The aroma is quite strong with roasted malts, anise, dark fruits and something mineral. The taste, like the aroma, is licorice, blackened malts, dates and minerals. The palate is full and oily with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering licorice. Overall: Decent and unusual--very much enjoyed.

Kind of reminds me a little of a more user-friendly version of A. Le Coq Russian Imperial Stout. Massive aromas of roast, dark malt, ripe fruit, spice, toffee and walnuts. Flavors are similar to nose, more sweet at first with a big bitter middle before going bittersweet at the end. Add in some cocoa and coffee. Body and carbonation are perfect. This aged very well. Really nice.

Bottle: Poured a deep dark brown color ale with a large brown foamy head with OK retention with some lacing. Aroma of deep caramelized malt notes with some toffee and light bitter notes. Taste is also dominated by deeply caramelized malt notes with some toffee, very minimal amount of residual sugar and a slightly bitter finish. Body is pretty full for style with good level of carbonation and fait alcohol notes are also perceptible. Enjoyable old ale but I think I prefer the regular or barrel-aged version.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of smoke and malt mostly. Flavor of raisin, smoke, malt and oxidation. Perhaps the concrete egg was left open for too long. Too bad.

Tap @ BBF 2019. Deep dark brown color. Toffee in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor with soft roast, butter and toffee. Some remaining grassy hops.

Clear deep purple to brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, very stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty malty, grains, hay, caramel, soft roast, alcohol, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice roast, alcohol, bit hoppy, dark chocolate, nice caramel notes. Aftertaste: sweet touch, lots of bitter hops, soft roast, alcohol, dark chocolate, nice one!

Borefts XI Day 2 . Keg. Almost clear very dark amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts. Modest dark chocolate. Modest dark fruits. Some mellow bourbon barrel but I don’t think this is barrel aged. Light finish. Fine.
