[Cask at the Horse & Groom, Hare Hatch.] A pale amber pour with a ring of white head; sour grainy aroma; taste to hatch with a touch of lemon and cream soda; then a dry biscuity finish with a gentle bitterness. Not unpleasant.

Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn after breakfast at Tollemache Inn (JDW). Clear golden body, filmy layer that laced well. Restrained aromas of dusty hops with a citric touch. Hop fruity taste of citrus and peaches. Mid-dry bitter end. Slightly diluted on the swallow. Straightforward. (Grantham 13.11.2021).

Olfactory rather floral with some fruity esters. Golden and clear liquid with a medium foam that lasts long enough. Taste is also floral and fruity but accompanied by deciduous hops that develop deep bitterness and slight astringency. Light fruity esters that supports the floral side. Body moderately light and carbonation still quite sustained for style. More new world than English, this pale ale combines fruitiness and bitterness in a hopping very unstandard for style. O:6.535 V:3.25 G:7.9 C:3.098 G:14.35 T:35.133

Had at the England v New Zealand test match at Edgbaston thanks to Sarky: Poured a golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is light hops, grain, malts. Taste was bitter forward of hops, grain and malt backbone, very refreshing. FEED THE SNAKE, FEED THE SNAKE!

Pale gold with a frothy white head and a mellow tropical fruit and floral aroma. Refreshing, light bodied mouthfeel, with floral hops and touches of fruit livening up the biscuit malt backbone
