500ml Bottle - Brown with red tinges. Pine, caramel and raisins. Fruity, fairly bitter and noticeably hoppy taste with pine, grapefruit, berries, sultanas and berries. A tasty hoppy barley wine.

Flaska från SB. Kastanjebrun med krämigt beigevitt skum. Spannmål, torkad frukt, kandisocker, lite granskott och väldigt ”brittiska” humletoner. Tung och ganska klibbig kropp. Smak som doften med en ganska bra beska. Skogig, lätt rökig och lite bränd ton som matchar upp sötman snyggt. Riktigt old school BW, och riktigt gott. Blir intressant att se vad som händer om man låter en flaska ligga ett tag.

Bottled at RBESG 2007. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet matly with notes of caramel, brewmash, spices, and fruit, as well as a light touch of prunes.

Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Hoppy aroma with oaky and vinous notes. Very malty, sweet and alcoholic flavour.

Bottle at RBESG 2007. Russet, no head. Got aroma of the Kaggen, heathery aroma. Sweet triple type flavour. Bit harsh.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 2 June 2007) Dark amber colour with short, foamy head. Fruity nose with loads of hops, grapefruit, pine needles and hints of dried fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with dried fruit (apricots), grapefruit and orange peel. Medium to full body, rahter sweet. Powerfull stuff, and another brilliant (and not so modest) brew from Närke.

(Draught at The Rover, Göteborg) Shady brown color, creamy tan head. Hoppy and sweet taste with pine and spices, also alcohol. Long hoppy aftertaste. Full mouthfeel. High bitterness.
