Bottle shared on the train from Inverness to Wick, from Tomlinsons, 20/10/13. Clear light golden with a thin white covering. Nose is citrus lead, light mineral tang, lemon zest, bitter orange, hoppy notes. Taste comprises citric zing, orange pith, toasted malts. Medium bodied, light spritz carbonation wise, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. A very decent Golden Blonde, let down by the slightl overcooked carbonation.

Bottle: Deep golden, a bit unclear, lively carbonation, stable and lacy creamy white head, moderate aroma of exotic fruits with piney traces underneath, in the background malt, bread and fruits; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and very soft; smooth and lingering bitter-sweet fruity and malty finish. A goodyβ¦

Aroma sweet sugary malts, roasty, floral hops, citrus zest, light to medium bitter and sweet taste, fruity touch of citrus. Medium body, creamy, lightly carbonated, clean and smooth bittersweet finish. Incredible refreshing beer, well-balanced.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Citric hoppy and mildly bready cara-malty aroma. Slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a slightly harsh carbonation. Delicately bready cara-malty base with a present hops character, including citrus-fruity and floral accents; lasting finish with notes of grapefruit. Fresh summer Ale. 08.VIII.13

Obtained in a trade with Brigadier. 50 cl. bottle @ home. BBF 02/2014. Lot 256. The gorgeous thistle designs on the label and cap make me instantly think of Scotland β absolutely lovely and mission accomplished I presume. Pours a gorgeous amber orange with a creamy white head, incredible lacing. Nose is full of fruity & juicy American hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits, mango coupled together with delicious light touches of sweet malts and candy sugars. Taste is lovely tropical fruits, light orange peels and touch of marmalade, light candy sugar, light peach, fruity coupled with some malty sweetness. Mainly juicy and fruity with only some lesser orange peel bitterness in the back. The light body and ABV make this for a highly drinkable and incredible session brew. Great flavour coupled with easy drinkability makes this one a winner for me. Honestly I am taken back entirely by the low scores on this one because the high drinkabily and excellent flavour make this a real winner for me. If this is sold near your area at a reasonable price, you should really consider holding a prolonged drink session using this beer. For my half a litre went down as easy as water. Also I had fun using my new Brigand glass with apparently holds roughly half a litre.

50cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian (thanks!) Pours clear golden with a white head. Lightly hoppy and fruity aroma with pale malt, citrus, tropical fruits and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet and lightly citric with a nice bitterness. Easy drinking and quite okay, but slightly boring. Clear, light copper ale with a foamy head. Hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus. The taste reflects the aroma, hoppy with a sharp citrus edge leaving a slightly hoppy aftertaste on the tongue. Very nice but the taste isnβt especially strong.

(Draught at Bishopβs Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, passion-fruit and biscuity malt. Fruity taste with citrus, tropical fruit, biscuity malt, hints of yeast and a gentle, lemony bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a balanced sweetness. Quite nice.
