Cask @ Golden Rule, Edinburgh
Golden light amber, crystal clear, thin white head, some lacing.
Aroma - pale golen fairly sweet malts, pale fruits, light apricot, soft citrus, soft floral
Taste - pale golden malts, soft pale fruits, apricot, restrained citrus hops, some floral notes, some creamy golden malt, soft cereal
Palate - soft carb, thinnish body but a bit oily and viscous...light bittersweet palate. Finish - moderate bitter lingering light zesty hops
Overall - Quite a good ale - it’s improved when it was nothing special a while back

500 ml bottle. A golden beer wtih a almost medium and white head. Aroma is biscuity, honey sweetness and lemony hoppyness; quite fresh and nice aroma. Taste is simple, dry maltyness, lemons, slightly musty aftertaste. Light to drink, nice carbonation, nice and easy to drink. Good and basic Golden Ale, lemon gives enough of freshness.

Cask at the Prince of Wales, Aberdeen. It pours golden yellow, with a thin bubbly white head. The nose is strawberry, grapefruit, peach and hay. The taste is cereal, hay, grass, straw, pine, lemon and peach, with a light bitter finish. It is light bodied and has soft carbonation. An easy drinking blonde ale.

Väldigt fint nyanserad men diskret humleprofil. Med tanke på pris och alkoholhalt ett lysande öl.
