On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza Sept 2018. Pours opaque deep brown towards black with a smidge of tan head. Aroma: sweet toasted malts, cacao, dark chocolate. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, rich, burnt malts, dark chocolate, spice, brown sugar, mellow bourbon vibes. Full body with light carbonation

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma - Malt body with some roasted notes and some bitterness - The malt roasted flavour goes into the finish with some bitterness - This was good

Beaverfest. Keg. Almost clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, touches of dark chocolate and vanilla. Good fruity bourbon. Some mild caramel. Light finish. Nice taste but thin and dry.

(Tap) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of chocolate liqueur; boozy balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Keg at Beaverex '18, day one, 07/09/18. Black with a well presented tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocoalte, mellow roast malts, charr, spice, toffee crisp. Taste comprises coffee grinds, dark chocolate, spice, charr, roasted bite, brown sugar, mellow bourbon rip. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid impy.

SBWF 2018. Black with tan head. Bourbon, chocolate, coffee roast, liquorice. Benchmark clean BBA but not a standout.

[9/7/18] Draught at Beavertown Extravaganza 2018 in London. Day 1. Black, tan foam. Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, roast, licorice, sweet, bitter finish, quite full-bodied, alcohol.

Sample at SBWF 2018. Black with a small tan head. Sweetish with dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, some dark fruit and oak. The body was full and the finish with some warming alcohol.

A deep dark imperial porter with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, beautiful sweet fruity malt with loads dark fruits, plums, bourbon barrel, alcohol warmth, very rich. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of vanilla, bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, very nice and complex. On tap at Rattle N Hum East.
