Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cucumber, fruity and floral. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with a long grassy, cucumber and floral finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

500 ml bottle, batch #2445, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, shared with my son. Slightly hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Distinct aroma of cucumber, hints of lemon verbena. Flavour of cucumber, citrus and lemon verbena, a hint of mint. Not really my cup of tea.

KYGGK 080122. Deep golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is cucumber, fruit, malt, herbs. Flavor is cucumber, herbs, malt, pine, grapefruit, spices, bread,yeast. Weird beer.

Bottle. It's a hazy orange-golden colored beer topped by a finger-thick white head. Some lacing. The aroma has lots of pickled cucumber, with a spiced touch and some light bready malts. It's full-bodied and semi-sweet on the palate, still dryish, with a nice carbonation. Cucumber-driven flavor too, with some spiced hints and bready malts. A pleasant saison-like flavor in the back. Quite bready malts in the finish, but still with cucumber running the show. Saison in the back. Way, way too much cucumber. 220108

Brunorange farge med flott Off-white skum. Tja hva lukter jeg på nå. Tok jeg feil i kjøleskapet? Sylteagurk så det holder. Smaker gjær, agurk og korn. Medium fylde. Søt avslutning.

Botte served chilled (had a few of this now and it’s essential that this is served chilled from the fridge IMO). Unclear golden orange body under a fine, stable white head. Aroma has pale malt, citric fruit, fruity yeast, hint of cucumber and some mint. Taste is like a Belgium inspired Saison spiced with kveik, cucumber and fresh mint. Feels slightly original, tasty and really refreshing. The cucumber and the mint are distinct bit not very dominating, at least when served chilled, particular the cucumber becomes a bit more prominent as the glass heat up. Still, it’s made with such balance that it shouldn’t be to challenging for the open-minded consumer. One of my summer beer favorites. Best served as a thirst quencher bit workes fine with a fresh salad.

Drukket på Bergstua. Ferskenfarget. Middels høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Agurkaroma. Smaken agurksaft. Mer original enn god. Sliter med å finne noe denne kunne passe til.

Jeg er jo vanligvis et pliktoppfyllende menneske, så etter.min timeslange innsats i hagen føler jeg meg fortjent til denne 0,5 flasken fra væskeutsalget i Verksgata: uklar mørk korngylden med fint skum som varer. Stram duft og direkte ubehagelig smak av sylteagurker, halvvissen mynte og overmoden citrus. Eneste plass for agurk i ølbrygging må være på et leverposteismørbrød. Bortkastede penger.
