Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a modest sweetness. Light smooth pine and a fair dose of citric peel that is brightened up a some fresher citrus and some nibbly hop spice. Smooth finish. Pretty standard West Coast dipa, doesn't break out of that restrictive substyle, but quite drinkable.

Can from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden with a close to snow white head. Nose - mango, orange with bread and light resin. Taste - orange and bready again. Palate - light to medium bodied, with a lovely balanced bitterness. Overall - slips down a treat. Hadn't spotted the 8% until it was gone.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of piney resin, caramel, grapefruit. Taste is very piney, resinous, grapefruit, caramel sweetness, very nice bitter finish, but also very boozy for an 8% DIPA. Medium bodied.
