Bottle pours out a amber brown, nose is nice sweet honey strawberries and that superstition vanilla cream. Taste is more of the nice sweet honey vanilla and some tart berries.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a clear ruby color with no head. Bright strawberry fruit aromas on the nose with some creamy vanilla, oak and bourbon notes as it warms. Smooth and rich strawberry and vanilla with bourbon and oak on the finish. Booze is hidden fairly well.

A dark brown mead with aroma of dark honey, light maple, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice mix of strawberry, honey, light woody notes, alcohol warmth, beautiful stuff. Bottle from Dovid.

Draught @ MBCC'18 [ Green Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark.[ As Superstition Bourbon Barrel Aged Mourning of Adonis ].Clear medium brown red colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, bourbon, buttery - strawberry (sorry I did get it more as butterscotch than strawberry), wood - barrel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, honey, berries, alcohol - bourbon, vanilla - strawberry. Body is medium, texture is oily - sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20180512] 7-3-8-4-15

8-4-7-4-15 Sample from bottle, courtesy of and @ Mjøderiet. Pours clear mahogany, with no head. Aroma is strawberries, heather and leather, as well as earthy minerals. Creamy body, with no carbonation. Flavour is sweet notes of honey and earthy minerals, as well as notes of berries.

On tap at MBCC 2018. Pours brown with beige head. Brown with small tan head. Strawberry, some subtle bourbon, honey, some dried fruit, sweet. Oily and dense.
