330ml can from Gluten Free Beer Collective. Gluten Free. Amber brown colour, off-white foam head and aroma of malt, caramel, toffee. Taste is sweetish, malty, toffee, caramel, fruity, nutty with some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, nutty earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear brown with a thick cream-coloured head. Aromas of toffee and hazelnuts. Taste is more of the same, maybe a hint of treacle. Classic 80 bob. Thin finish though.

On cask at Monty's Bar. Appearance - brown with amber chinks. Off white creamy head. Nose - chewy toffee and light treacle with prominent hazelnuts. Taste - more chewy toffee and hazelnuts. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and sweet middle and finish. Overall - great example of the style.
