Bottle from Hopduvel.
A: hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head.
A: aniseed, liquorice, cocoa powder, raisin, mocha, toffee, cheap whisky.
T: sweet dried banana, red apple & raisin, spicy aniseed, clove, toast.
F: herbal hops, spices, dried fruits, touch of cocoa, subtle whisky alcohol.
P: medium body, thin oily texture, average carbonation.
Decent but doesn't really hit the spot like Anker's Whisky Infused.

C: dark, opaque.
A: dark malts, nutty, caramel, banana, red apples, coffee, whisky touch.
T: full malty base, roasted tones, banana, coffee, whisky, chocolate, woody touch, red apples, medium carbonation, decent bitterness, not bad not great even, enjoyed.
F: medium, tanned, average retention.
C: dark, opaque.

Medium, cream-coloured head, rather stable over fully hazy dark nut-brown beer. Bit woody, dark malts, dry, hint at booze. Light bitter, maltsweetness, light roast, again woody, bit nutty. The whiskey is there, but really held back, despite being infused. Medium bodied, good carbonation, pretty slick, almost viscous. Long lasting flavours. Aftertaste features some cacao powder. Decent, not special. Whiskey barrel aging is superior to infusing. Purchased @ Dranken Goegebuer, Knesselare

Almost black. Thin head. Dark malt and a caramel bittersweetness. Some raisin and Belgian yeast too. Not really any noticeable Whisky but still pleasant. Touch of aniseed and Bay Leaf in the finish.

Bottle at home. Dark brown to black color, average sized brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, roast and some smoke. Firm malt bitters and lightly liquor. Mwah, drinkable but not great.

De Poes Foncée, Fläschchen von Jef - danke schön! - Tiefdunkel, fast schwarz; dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase tatsächlich unverkennbare Noten von Whiskey über mattem, schwerem Röstmalz von klebrig karamelliger Süße. - Antrunk kernig gerstig-röstmalzig aber von eigenartigen Gemüsearomen beeinträchtigt, in die sich zuerst leicht fruchtige, sirupartige Malzsüße und sodann völlig unmotivierte Whiskey-Aromen mischen. Milder rezent, vollmundig, nicht ganz kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang stark mokkabitter mit Lakritz und nur schwach hopfenherb. - Warum man Whiskey ins Bier kippen sollte, erschließt sich mir auch in diesem Fall nicht: das schmeckt einfach nur schräg. Donkerbruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht bitter met iets van koffie, chocolade en gebrande noten. De whiskey heb ik niet in de smaak terug kunnen vinden.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Inoven, Roelzie en Juul op het Brabants Speciaalbier festival in Oirschot. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een whisky achtige geur. De smaak is vol, whisky, hout en gedroogd fruit.
