A Black IPA with Columbus dryhop.
The coffe and chocolate flavours go hand in hand with the grassy citrus aroma's in the hops

From tap at Proeflokaal MOUT, Groningen. Nicely roasty aroma with chocolate, fruity hops, citrus, light pine, some coffee. Bitter flavour with a light sweetness. Medium body. Very nice, a solid BIPA, big roast.

Pretty good. Nice balance between roast and hops. True to style. Not super clean, a bit of ashy haziness to it. Walhalla ams

Can at home, from Sterk Amsterdam, fantastic upgrade to this shop. 25th November 2021. Pours a perfect black beer with an off white head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa. Taste is roasted malts, light aromatic, citrus, good bitterness mostly from the roasted malts, a bitter, slightly citrus and long lingering roasty finish

0.33 l can from 'Drankgigant', canned in July 2021. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, quite fruity-resiny aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, tropical fruits, some blueberry and light pine. Gently sweet, malty, slightly roasty-bitter, moderately fruity-resiny taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, lots of licorice, some blueberry, light tropical fruits and hints of pine, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, very earthy, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty beer, but rather roasty and malty for a BIPA, more or less a hoppy Stout.

18/VIII/21 - on tap @ Arendsnest (Amsterdam), BB: n/a (2021-856) Thanks to the misses for going on a beer tour with me!
Clear black beer, small creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, rural character, some cow fodder, hint of hazelnut, some spelt and other grain character. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice roast, very bitter, coffee, pretty hoppy, resinous, good bitterness, pretty dry, malty backbone, raw grains. Aftertaste: more roast, hoppy, resinous, lots of dark coffee, deep roast, slightly sweet, malty notes, cow fodder.
