For our first Milkshake IPA, we chose Blackberries and Apricot to complement the sweetness from the lactose and fruity notes from the Mosaic and Citra hops.

33cl Blik van Walhalla. Troebel goud oranje kleur, witte kraag. Mango, steenvruchten, hoppig, licht zweterig, gelukkig vrijwel geen abrikoos, bessen of lactose te bekennen. Lichte body. Goeie frisse en fruitige IPA.

0.33 l can from 'Drankgigant.nl', canned in August 2021. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head and quite some floaties. Sweetish, rather fruity, a little dank aroma of mango, passion fruit, some green peppers and light vanilla. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity taste of mango, passion fruit, maybe some blackberry and hints of grapefruit, followed by a short, gently bitter, minimally dank finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty IPA, fortunately not really focusing on the milkshake theme, neither really get the blackberry nor the apricot though.
