Home, Sour Home is our golden sour beer fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria. It's aged in oak barrels with peaches, cinnamon, and vanilla bean, simply reminding us of homemade peach cobbler.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of the cinnamon upfront, followed by some vanilla, and light funk. Flavour is along the same lines, with cinnamon and vanilla pudding dominating. Not getting any of the brett though. Light tartness in the finish. Solid adjunct-centric sour.

2013 Edition Head gone in secs; golden-yellow beer. Bit of acetone, and lots of nice acids, mainly lactic, vanilla, blossoms. Actually immensely inviting. Taste is also flowery, less vanilla than the nose, mild lactic acid, green fruit. I do not get the cinnamon, which is surprising. Acidburn, light body and a wheatlike slickness. Wow! 2015 Edition No head, slightly hazy golden-yellow beer. Hardly any vanilla, but an aroma that is more as chamomille. Mildly sour, chamomille, peach or nectarine, unripe. Light body, very spritzy, acidburn. Again no taste of the cinnamon, but nice enough.

Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Pours translucent gold with a transient white head. Aroma is a mild spiced peach. Maybe lacto hint. Med body. Flavor is cinnamon spiced peach, with sour that seems a mix of the nasties. A mildly sour, quite tasty, recommended ale.

Bottle sample. Cloudy yellow color, white head. Aroma of stone fruit and citrus. Taste is softly sour summer fruit. Tasty.

Yellow golden liquid. It’s somewhat hazy. The small white head bubbled away to nothing quickly. The aroma has a nice moderate level of peachiness. The vanilla comes out and adds a nice note to the mix. Not much cinnamon. It’s there but quite mild. Light oak. Moderately sour in the taste. Just a touch of acetic acidity in the finish. Some nice fruit but it’s a bit muddled. A little more oak. Light to medium body. Nice enough sour.

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Tart and sour aroma. Sour flavor with cinnamon and light peach. Medium bodied. Sourness and light peach lingers with cinnamon and light vanilla.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours a cloudy orang with small off white head. The aroma is peaches, oak, and vanilla. Thin mouth, tart peach, vanilla in the finish. Very nice

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma has a light acidity with quite a bit of cinnamon. Light vanilla notes and faint peach with light tropical fruit. Reminds me of a fruity snickerdoodle cookie. Pours a cloudy, bright, yellow gold with a small white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light acidity. Some more peach character than in the aroma. Less cinnamon, but still quite a bit. Rather faint vanilla. Some medium light citrus notes with some light tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer but the cinnamon character is a bit strong. Lots of tropical fruit but not much peach. Almost no vanilla at all.

Tap. Pours hazy butterscotch, small white head, kinda creamy, good lacing. Aroma is fruity, bit of funk, oak. Flavor is initially lightly sweet, peach, vanilla, cinnamon all come through, lightly tart with some oak and a bit of tannins. Minimal funk. Dry finish. Lightish body, good effervescence. Off yellow kind of golden. Looks a lot like a gueuze. Light carbonation. Nose is dominated by cinnamon a ton of huge Christmassy gingerbread and vanilla aromas. Sugar, spice and everything nice up front. Vanilla is prevalent with a minor oak finish. Throughout the taste, undertones of sharp acidic sour are there but honestly, from start to finish and even way after the finish is done, the adjuncts stay alive. If you are on the fence about sour beers and love Christmas spices, this is a beer for you. If you’re a purist sour-head who hates adjuncts, skip this one.
