Home, Sour Home is our golden sour beer fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria. It's aged in oak barrels with peaches, cinnamon, and vanilla bean, simply reminding us of homemade peach cobbler.

Craft Clerkenwell. LKS 15K bash. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and mildly crisp. Light lemony sourness offset by vanilla. Tangy orange - lemon in the middle. Sweetish cinnamon runs throughout and in the background. Light crisp finish. Sherbet citric linger. A gobfull and most entertaining.

Bottle split at LKS 15K Tasting, big thanks to Kenny, 02/11/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is tarte citric peel, big acidic vnegarisms, farmyard, wood, burnt lemon, bitter orange. Taste comprises light coconut shreds, damp straw, pissy melon, tangy peach, wood must, vinegar strokes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, puckering close carrying an acidic throat scrape. Pretty full on but a solid sour all told.

Bottle shared in London during the 15k tasting. Many thanks to Matteo. Pours unclear gold with a fluffy white head. The nose holds peach, lemon, tangerine, melon, light spices. Light-medium sweet flavor high acidity, lemon, peach, certainly some cobbler notes. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Cleansing sour finish, more lemon, peach, pale bread, spice, melon. Assertive but very nice overall.

Bottle big thanks to Kenny. It cloudy orange with a medium white head. The nose is soft, juicy, funky, sour apricot, sour peach, wood, vanilla, cinnamon and earth. The crisp, tart, sweet-sour, good mouth-pucker, sour apricot, peach, cinnamon, some acidity, with a dry, slightly acidic finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Perhaps a touch acidic, but quite enjoyable anyhow.

GABF 2015. Cloudy gold color. Just a little cloudy with a thin white head. Mild aroma, some fruit and yeast, not a lot there. Flavor is much more interesting. Big sour bite. some fruit flavor, cinnamon, surprisingly, and vanilla. Quick finish.

Bottle shared at dbarnold's, 10/31/15. Fruity and sour. Golden color. Really excellent flavor. Got a nice fruity peach presence. Spice is the right amount of subtle. I'm not sure I'd have called this peach cobbler, but I totally see it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Alon. Cloudy pale yellow. Great sour aroma with peaches, oak, lacto, funk, cookie, vinegar, some cinnamon, a vanilla note, and a latex hint. Tart and slightly sweetish flavor, lactic, with peaches, oak, a bit of vinegar, some cinnamon, and a vanilla note. Medium-bodied. Great stuff.
