Una IPA? Una Pils? Tutt’altro !
E’ una Lichtnenhainer prodotta con un blend di Lactobacillus che conferisce una lieve acidità ed un naso citrico e fresco, e l’utilizzo di malto di frumento affumicato che caratterizza il prodotto con sentori di fumo e di brace. Basso grado plato di partenza, appena 4.1 gradi alcol, molto molto fresca e da bere in grosse quantità. È una fusione (acido/fumo) molto interessante, una esperienza gustativa sicuramente intrigante ed appagante

17/6/2025. Draft at Shaka Brew, Pescara, Abruzzo. Not a style I was expecting to find on my visit. Pours clear pale golden with a large frothy white head. Nice smoked citrus aroma.

Lattina. Il naso viene catturato dall'affumicato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Ha una nota finale amarognola. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono sentori di zuccherino, miele, frutta secca, agrumi, affumicato e pompelmo.

Can on the balcony at Matera, 2nd April 2023. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is slight tart and a little smoke. Taste is complex, tart, some smoke, citrus, musty, earthy and refreshing. Great for this style

Can from Astral Pub, Bologna. Clear golden, quickly thinning, white head. Aroma of smoked wood, bacon, dried apple peel, pear, wheat, sourdough. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, yeasty & smoky profile with hints of sour wheat, smoked herbs. Tart, fruity finish, citric, smoked wheat & bread returning retronasally. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Good but it doesn't last long.

Taster at Lambiczoon, Milan, Italy. Pours pale gold with limited foam. Aroma is delicate, with herbal, vegetal and wood. Body is kind of light with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately sour, almost absent bitterness. Final is fairly short and clean.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2019. Cloudy golden, medium white head. Smoke, lemon, light bodied. Moderate sourness.Quite smooth. Medium bodied.

On tap @Sam Beer (Rome). Dorata, un filo torbida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso una nota leggermente affumicata, malto, lieve citrico. In bocca è acida medio-leggera e un filo amara, rinfrescante. Corpo leggero, carbonazione brillante. Eccellente.
