Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is nutty, some tart fruits, mild leathery and some yeasty tones. Flavour is leathery, some nutty, coffeeish and mild tart fruity tones. A wee bit peaty notes too.

Dreckig wie Schlamm, kein Schaum. Schwierig einzuordnen, definitiv kein klassisches Porter. Im Antrunk sehr harzig, bitter bis in die Mitte. Erst hinten etwas portrig. Hab dann doch mehr Porter als IPA erwartet.

Draught @ Warpigs. Pours murky Brown with a small White head. Citrussy hops, vague roast and caramel. Dry with a marmelade like finish. Short bitter finish.

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Saturday session 1. Dark brown body under a fine, dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate, grapefruit and some resin. Taste is medium sweet brown malt, chocolate, slightly piny and pleasant bitterness. Fine body and pleasant aftertaste. Nice one.

On tap at Brew Festival. An unclear brown beer topped by a dense finger-thick dark beige head. Lacing. The aroma is roasted and lightly burnt, with pine cones, some grapefruit and a whiff of resin. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, lightly warming and with a nice bitterness. Mostly dark malts in the flavor, roasted and lightly burnt, but there's also a fine hoppyness. Pine cones, citrus zest, grapefruit and some orange. Chocolate and a touch of bonfire too. Lasting finish. Sure a delicious and well-hopped brown ale. 220430
