Our juiciest, fruitiest and haziest IPA ever. An explosion of tropical hop flavor at 8.3% ABV.
Original Mind Haze hops such as Azacca, Cashmere and Mosaic are now joined by Strata, Sabro, Idaho Gem, Idaho 7 and Motueka. DMH is audaciously dry hopped both during and after fermentation, and total hops per barrel of beer reach nearly five pounds in the making of DMH. Sabro has a unique coconut aroma, while Strata offers bold, pungent fruit. Some of these hops might stick out in a lighter hazy like Mind Haze, but in this stronger beer they find a perfect balancing point.

Can, 0.355l. Aroma of mango, pineapple, passion fruit, citrus and biscuit. Pours hazy golden orange color with medium sized creamy white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet stone and tropical fruity with citrusy note, following is resinous, slightly medicinal and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Right-minded hazy decision…

Pale yellow colour with a lot of haze and a thin lacy head. This is much more intense than the regular version. Lots of caramelised, syrupy sweetness. Light but well rounded bitterness. Nice, full mouthfeel.

The aromas are old hops and pale malt. Flavors are malty sweet upfront with good carbonation and some bitter in the end. Decent body and a kind of sweet then bitter then sweet finish. Nothing special at all and a letdown from this brewer.

Can from Beer Hop. It pours cloudy golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, mango, tinned peach, pineapple, passion fruit, fruit cocktail, touch green and bready. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, bitter, juicy, peachy, mango, pineapple, tinned fruit cocktail, pithy, zesty, candied peel, marmalade, lemonade, greengage, melon, nip of spice, kick of booze, floury bread, green and weedy with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Decent fruity number. Quite like the bitter - sweet balance. Chugs easy.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour. Gentle fruit mix (stone fruit, tropical fruit, sweet orange), iding the alcohol quite well; not very bright, maybe the age, but still very drinkable.

A proper English pint @ Sales Force office. 5 months old. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: candied citruses, some tea notes, exactly what I would I expect from the old IPA. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: ok for an old thing.
