Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is big on pecan nut, roast malts, subtle barrel, chocolate. Draught at MBCC 2018, red session.
Black body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of creamy chocolate, pecan nuts, vanilla, spices, subtle bourbon.
Tastes pretty similar.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, nutty, warm, a bit spicy, chocolatey, with some vanilla, some roast.
Really tasty. Sweet, but very smooth, with lovely chocolate and pecan notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Not as great as the standard Dessert Edition, but another beautiful one.
