Can 440ml @ Patrick's Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, oat. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

Can, at Patricks. It's a black one, with a dense finger thick beige head. Some curtains. The aroma feels a bit sourish, with roasted malts, molasses and salty licorice. Hints of alcohol. It's super smooth on the palate, full to medium bodied and quite sweet on the palate, rather low on carbonation, with sweetness, roasted malts, coffee hints, molasses, brown sugar and a touch of alcohol. Medium length finish. A bit on the sweet side, but tasteful. 220604

Can. LLBH. Fridge clear out job. Sits almost black. Barely a head. Nose has beef extract. There you go. Taste is pretty sweet with a burnt end bitterness. Fairly smooth on the palate. Low end carbonation. Bitterness gets going at the end. Ok enough for a can that’s well past it’s BBD.

Pitch black body under a small, tan head. Nice aroma of smooth roasted dark malt, dark chocolate and a hint of lactose. Taste is medium sweet, smooth roasted dark malt, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and balanced bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste. A fine, tasty and smooth stout somewhere in between a classic stout and a milk stout. Nice.

440ml can shared with Jan Oscar at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. The oily pour reveals a deep black body under a filmy layer, faint lacing. Attractive aromas of black chocolate malts, nicely roasted. Malt-forward taste character of black chocolate, coffee and a little vibe of dark fruits, mild lactose backbone. Roasted malty ending, not overly sweet. Fine depth. A nice one. (Tromsø 21.09.2021).

440ml can from Suagu, Seri Kembangan, Malaysia. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived fizzy tan head. The aroma is sweet roasted malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty, light chocolate, sweet sugary floral aromatic, light charcoal/ashtray, lactose, light hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice. Very nice in fact but there were some sweet fake sugary aromatic notes in the finish that were not the best.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a very thin brown head. Aroma of chocolate and roast malts. Taste is quite sweet, milky chocolate, lactose, dark and roasty malts. Medium bodied, so smooth and creamy.

Thin light brown head quickly left a dark brown finely carbonated body. Tobacco, tar, burnt & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, lively on the tongue smoothing out to a creamy back & clean aft. Liquorice, jam, lactose, berry & nutty tastes with sweet fruity finish. Very tasty
