0.75l at the RBESG 23 grand tasting - huge thanks to whoever brought it! Murky red-amber body, no head. Creamy, lightly acetic, yeasty and caramelly aroma. Sour, minerally, acettic taste, ending a bit bitter, slightly oxidized. Simple and nice, though it didn't age perfectly. Maybe too simple for the expectations, but eh, not bad.

Bottle at RBESG GT 2023. Lots of acetic acid all around, overpowering everything. Some dried fruits, some caramel, but above all vinegary. Balsamic. Flawed and boring. Ungood.

Pours dark redbrown, unclear, no foam. Scent is mildly acetic, very oaky. Red wine aroma. Taste is full, highly acetic, medium acidic. Dry, sharp, oaky. Relatively fullbodied. Mild red fruits, no real carbonation. Not bad !

Draught Layered head very slowly creeping up to small brownish cream head over reddish-shot muddy brown beer. Vinous and chocolate, really in perfect balance - the beer for Brideshead Revisited? Haute chocolatier praliné ganache - and lactose. Vinous, lactic/malonic acid, and chocolates with sour fruit ganache. Wine-drenched wood. Serious acidthinning, quite slick and still good body - as chocolate sauce with a dash of wine. Special, but maybe not the best Bon-Chien.
