On tap at Lambiczoon, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with balsamic notes, red wine barrels, and sweet liqueur. Flavour is surprisingly nice, with plenty of balsamic, red wine barrels, tannins, and dry port wine. I’m not a fan of the balsamic, but there’s admittedly a very nice vinous character. Good but not fully convinced.

Bottle. Very dark brown, no head. Indeed balsamico, figs, dried red berries, brown sugar, raspberries, oak, red wine, earthy dead leaves. Quite sour but also quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied, no carbonation.

Hazy dark brown colour. No foam, no carbonation. Nose of red wine, balsamico vinegar, iron. Taste is metallic, tart, bitter, varnish, rust, blood. Very unbalanced sour and metallic taste. It's a long time ago I had a bad beer from Alvinne but this is not good.
