Pours black, no head. Scent is full, coconut. Coffee and vanilla are hidden. Taste is full, sweet, mild coffee and vanilla. Coconut more pronounced, but not overpowering. Fullbodied - mostly due to simple sugars. more than decent, but not breath-taking . Almost a minor red fruit aspect to it. A hint of acidity ( not infected, just by the roasty malts) . Nice enough.

Pastry stout from this Greek craft brewer on the island of Corfu, sampled at Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Greyish beige, thin, open and dissolving head, black robe with hazy burgundy edges. Aroma of coconut (if not necessarily toasted), chocolate sauce, melting caramel, toffee, brown rum, vanilla but not very strong, coffee grounds, mocha ice cream, rainwater, beef broth. Very sweet onset, sticky even, dried figs, soft carb, full and oily body; very chocolatey middle with layers of toffee and hazelnut paste on top, aromatized by a growing coconut flavour which becomes quite dominant in the end though now indeed in a toasty, not overly 'candy-like' way, matching well with the general make-up of the beer; low in bitterness though, and the coffee and vanilla are a bit overshadowed by the coconut. Warming, rum-like finish - even Batida de Coco springs to mind with all that coconut. Well, I guess I wanted a coconut stout, and that is definitely what I got so no complaints here.
Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2021. A very dark brown beer. Aroma of strong dark caramelized malt, coffee. Taste of sweet dark chocolate malt, coffee, caramel. Nice.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, sweet malts, good roast, ripe banana, bit oxidized, caramel notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sweet and sugary, caramel, chocolate, soft roast, alcohol, some banana. Aftertaste: sugary, some caramel, dried fruits, more ripe banana, chocolate cake, gudge, lots of alcohol, little oxidized. Decent!

440ml can @ tasting 30.1.21. Poured black in color. Thin brown head. Lots of coconut, chocolate, coffee in aroma and flavor. Quite massive overall, to be enjoyed in small doses. Not that sweet fortunately. Vanilla later on.
