Stor takk til Holmen 2 for denne 0,33 flasken (bb. 140125): klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Beskjeden aroma av lys malt, milde urter og noe floralt. Slank, nærmest sylfideaktig maltkropp og litt smak av citrus og nevnte urter. Mild bitterhet i avslutningen. Lettdrikkelig men like lettglemmelig.

330 ml bottle, batch #011, as K.Aa.B. Sylfiden Brut IPA, from Bunnpris Sauda. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy pale golden colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of candy, newmown grass, sweet maize and rice pudding, hints of yellow stonefruits. Slightly citric and fizzy mouthfeel. Medium dry flavour, grainy notes, herbal hops, fairly distinct bitterness in the finish. Not a bad beer, but hardly one to remember.

YG 031121. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, yeast, grapefruit. Flavor is citrus, yeast, pine, grapefruit, fruit, malt, spices. OK beer.

Bottle. It's an almost clear one, golden in color, topped by a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma feels almost like a Belgian ale, with it's yeasty fruityness. Some pale malts, and a decent amount of piney hops too. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a bit too much sweetness. Belgian-style fruity yeastyness, pine cones, grass hints and some peppery hints in the flavor. Some bitterness too. Lasting fruity, bitter and lightly peppery, yeasty finish. Feels rather dull at first, but it's a very nice one actually. Not very Brut IPA-ish though. 211103

330ml bottle, #011, bought at Gulating Ølutvalg in Bodø. Frothy white head, misty golden body, clingy lacing. Hints of lemony hops on the nose. Moderate flavour profile of lemon, pale malts, and herbs. Drying, fruity finish. Soft carbonated. Easy going. (Bodø Panorama 11.08.2021).

Bottle as Brut IPA. Slightly unclear golden body under a white head. Mild aroma, not much more than light, pale malt, hint of grass and a floral touch. Taste is light, mild and fresh with pale malt, low fruitiness, and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Light and easy, not much going on but clean without any off flavors. Not sure about the style, I think this is more like a Blond or Golden ale than anything else. Easy drinkable thirst quencher.
