Can at BBT dec/2021. I guessed Strata. Apparently I taste like horse piss. Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, med-light zestiness. The hops character is citrusy, zesty, a little bit exotic. Easy drinking, tasty, quite good. A fun experience with friends too, making guesses and scratching them out.

Can picked up from Die Bierothek München, and consumed at our log cabin for the week in Reindlau, Austria, Monday 27th December 2021 listening to Floating Points, Pharaoh Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra - Promises and about to start cooking Bloody Mary Burgers, we did a great 16km hike up to 1618metres of which a large section was snow shoeing. Yet again Loz got the beer straight away, 2 out of 2 first guesses, 100% record. Pours hazy gold, white head, super smooth and creamy, a little vanilla, some soft summer fruits, a late tanginess. Good.
44cl can. A hazy yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of yeast, yellow fruits, stone fruits, mango. Taste of yellow fruits, citrus, stone fruits, moderate.

440ml can. Cloudy, orange, faint golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy and (citrusy) fruity, hoppy aroma, slightly unspecific, rather complex fruitiness, hints of melon and lychee, some mango, passion fruit, pineapple, orange, mandarine. Taste is slightly bitter, fruity hoppy, minimally grassy, sweet-ish, pale malty, minimally wheaty background, minimally diluted hints of melon, orange, a touch of weed. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, quite complex fruitiness (especially for a single hopped beer) - very, very nice. Would be impossible to get it right in a totally blind experiment, but by the method of exclusion you have a fair chance - I got it right due to the fact that all alternatives are familiar varieties with rather distinct characteristics.

Can. Looking forward to have another go at this, let's see how much the can will berate me this time :-D Cloudy amber, offwhite layer. Candyish tropical and citric notes, a hint hop-burny solvent. Pleasant to intense grassy and herbal bitterness with staying power., medium full chewy body, mellow sparkles. Actually got the hop right on the first try, but it was mostly down to excluding a few options and guessing. Still a fun experiment!
